Jim Hudson Project
Roof garage in Longview, WA
James Hurula Construction tackled a garage roof replacement, beginning with the critical first step of a full tear-off down to the deck. The team focused on doing the job right from the ground up, thoroughly assessing the existing structure before any new materials went on. Careful preparation and attention to detail in those early stages set the foundation for a roof built to last for years to come.
Scope of Work
James Hurula Construction will prepare the exterior work areas by protecting adjacent surfaces, landscaping, deck areas, walkways, doors, windows, and fixtures as needed prior to washing, repairs, caulking, and painting. The house exterior and garage gutters will be pressure washed to remove loose dirt, mildew, chalking, and surface contaminants so the new coatings and sealants have a sound surface to bond to. After washing, surfaces will be allowed adequate drying time before caulking, carpentry repairs, and paint preparation proceed.
