Kathy Mosler Project
Kalama, WA
James Hurula Construction is bringing renewed function and style to this home's bathroom with the installation of a new bypass sliding shower door. The project centers on a clean, precise fit that will deliver smooth daily operation and a polished, finished look. Work is just getting underway, and the team is focused on doing the job right from the very first step.
Scope of Work
Owner will remove the existing shower door prior to installation. James Hurula Construction will clean and dry the shower curb and wall surfaces, remove remaining silicone and adhesive residue, and inspect the opening for level, plumb, and slope toward the shower. Tracks and wall jambs will be measured and cut to fit the opening. A Portwood 60 in. x 70-1/4 in. bypass sliding shower door in brushed nickel with privacy glass will be installed, with the bottom track set in a continuous bead of mildew resistant silicone, wall jambs anchored plumb with manufacturer supplied fasteners, and the top rail, glass panels, rollers, guides, and handles installed and adjusted for smooth bypass operation in both directions. Wall jambs and bottom track will be sealed inside and outside, and manufacturer water deflectors and end caps will be applied. At completion, packaging will be removed, glass and hardware cleaned, and a water test completed with the owner.
James Hurula Construction takes pride in leaving every project clean, tested, and ready to enjoy — and this bathroom upgrade will be no exception.
