Backyard Rebuild — Deck, Concrete & Shed, Kalama WA
Kalama, WA
When this homeowner was ready to transform their outdoor space, they brought in the team to handle every piece of the project from the ground up. The scope was ambitious — tearing out the old and building something new, durable, and purpose-built for the way the family actually lives outside.
Deck
The old deck came down and a new cedar deck went up in its place, complete with custom handrails, a staircase, composite lattice skirting around the base, and a finished overhead structure that ties the whole space together. Every detail was built to last and to look right from every angle.
Hot tub cover
A concrete pad was poured to give the hot tub a solid, level foundation, then a gazebo-style cover was framed and finished overhead to shelter the space year-round. The graded gravel base and tight roof structure show the kind of prep work that makes the finished product stand up over time.
Shed
The shed went up with a clean double-door entry, a concrete ramp for easy access, and a properly finished roof — built to be genuinely useful, not just a box in the backyard.
