Exposed Aggregate Steps

Toutle/Castle Rock, WA

When this homeowner needed new steps that were both durable and visually sharp, the team came ready with a plan to deliver something built to last and finished with care. The project called for exposed aggregate on the back steps and face, paired with a clean broom finish on top — a combination that demands precision from start to finish.

Exposed Aggregate Steps

The crew set the forms, excavated and compacted a gravel base, and tied a detailed rebar system before pumping concrete through a line pump in a single pour. Skilled finishers then worked the surface to achieve a broom finish on top and a clean exposed aggregate texture on the steps and face — a technically demanding result that reflects the quality this team brings to every job.
