The People Behind The Work

James Hurula started in this trade at nineteen, packing lumber for a general contractor he'd go on to work alongside for fifteen years until the man retired and sold James his tools. That's where James Hurula Construction really begins: with a set of tool bags, a Skilsaw, and a standard for doing things right that James had learned never to compromise. He's worked framing, run jobs for other generals, and seen plenty of the corner-cutting that gives this business a bad name contractors who build cheap, or send out crews who don't know the work. James never could stomach it. Nine years ago he set out on his own, starting with nothing but his hands and what he knew. It's never been easy, and it isn't now but every job carries his name, and that's the only guarantee that's ever mattered. Today James runs the company with his wife, Tosha, by his side. Family-run, owner-operated, and built the hard way one honest project at a time.
Family owned, owner operated. When you hire James Hurula Construction, you get me on the job — not a crew you've never met.
